This website, summonguardians.com, is run by Summon Guardians LLC, based in Florida, USA (“we,” “us”). This policy explains what information we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
- Kickstarter notification list: if you sign up, we collect your email address and, if you choose to give it, your name. We use them only to tell you about the Summon Guardians Kickstarter and related game news. The list is managed through Mailchimp.
- Contact form: if you send us a message, we collect your name, email address and message so we can reply. Messages are delivered to our email inbox.
- Basic technical information: like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records standard information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, for security and to keep the site running.
Cookies
The site uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies to load pages quickly and keep the site working. Embedded YouTube videos may set their own cookies when you play them. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Analytics and advertising
We may use services such as Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure our ads. These services collect information about your visit using cookies. You can opt out through your browser settings or the tools these companies provide.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell your personal information. We share it only with services that help us run the site and our mailing list: our web host (KnownHost), Mailchimp, Google (Gmail and YouTube) and, once added, analytics and ad-measurement tools. Each handles your information under its own privacy policy. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Kickstarter and future purchases
If you back our Kickstarter campaign, your pledge and payment details are handled by Kickstarter under its own privacy policy, not by this website. If we later sell directly on this site, we’ll update this policy to cover orders and shipping.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from our emails any time using the link at the bottom of any email we send.
- Ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing summonguardians@gmail.com.
Children
This site isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them. If you think a child has given us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no website or email service can guarantee complete security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it was last changed.
